Here we have listed out all the travel resources we use when booking a trip all in one place, making it simple and easy for you to find the best deals on anything and everything trip related, from your flights to your visa.
Flights, Trains & Buses:
There are numerous places you can search for the best flight deals, but we find that one of the most thorough is Kiwi.com, they also offer various other transport options such as trains and buses too. An alternative to Kiwi.com is Omio, which also allows you to search for trains and buses so you can book everything in one place.
For more detailed information on trains then you can’t go wrong with thetrainline.com which allows you to search and book trains or coach connections, and for buses then Busbud is your go-to, to easily compare bus tickets from a wide range of companies to help book the best option for your trip.
Car Rental / Van Rental / Campervan Rental:
For car or campervan rental then we recommend using Rentalcars.com to compare offers in the UK and worldwide and book the perfect vehicle for your trip.
Visa:
No one wants to get to their destination and then realise they need a Visa, so we highly recommend using iVisa to check if you will require one for your destination beforehand, and to help direct you to the right place to get one should you need one. They not only have the most up-to-date information about visas, travel documents, and travel restrictions, but also easy step-by-step guides on how to actually go about a visa application. Plus, there is 24/7 customer support online should you need it.
Travel Insurance:
Unfortunately, things can and do go wrong when you travel. World Nomads offers coverage for more than 150 activities as well as emergency medical, lost luggage, trip cancellation and more.

Money / Currency:
By far the best currency conversion app around, and with the ability to easily switch your currency from one to another, Wise is a game changer when travelling. Not only does it save the hassle of having to get out physical money in multiple currencies if you are travelling through more than one country, but you can easily convert any leftover money back to your desired currency in the app, rather than having to do it at an airport or when you get home.
Accommodation:
There are numerous places where you can book your accommodation for a trip, (there is almost too much choice sometimes!), but we would recommend that you book your accommodation through one of the following for the best rates:
Booking.com – This is often our first go-to as it has one of the largest selections of accommodation out there.
Agoda – Again great for such a wide selection of accommodation, and often has a wider selection of properties throughout Asia.
Expedia UK – Perfect for booking not only accommodation but also often airport transfers and package tours.
Hostelworld – This is a great option if you are looking to travel on more of a budget, and they have some amazing properties worldwide. We stayed in hostels through Hostelword throughout our last trip to Iceland, and they were the perfect balance of affordable and comfortable.
Tours:
Tours are a great way to experience a country, without you having the hassle of organising it yourself. We have used tours from both Viator and Get Your Guide in multiple countries, so we would highly recommend them. Viator tends to have a little more choice in more locations, but we would suggest you check them both out to find the perfect thing for your trip.

If you would rather do a multi-day tour or even a tour for a few weeks then we can also recommend G Adventures or Contiki.
Having travelled through China on a G Adventures tour, and heard amazing things about their new Japan tours, G Adventures caters to everyone on small group adventures. Guidebooks:
Who doesn’t love a good guidebook? We always start off planning a trip by getting a good guidebook to the location and using that to research what to do, where to go and when to go. Some of the best guidebooks out there by far are Lonely Planet and Rough Guides, we use them for every trip, and they are easy to get hold of through Amazon.
